Dr. Marlon Rollins is a distinguished administrator and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health care and substance use treatment. Renowned for his compassionate approach and commitment to patient well-being, Dr. Rollins is dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare tailored to individual needs with data driven outcomes.
His career, deeply influenced by the personal tragedy of losing his sister, a nurse, to suicide, is marked by significant contributions as a speaker, author, and leader in mental health advocacy. Dr. Rollins has led major psychiatric and addiction treatment facilities to success, reflecting his commitment to eradicating mental health stigma and providing support to those in need. His role as an ordained minister and recipient of the Human Achievement Award from the Center for Leadership Development further highlights his dedication to holistic healing and societal change in mental health perceptions. Through his inspiring public speaking engagements, educational initiatives, and media appearances, he strives to increase understanding and support for those affected by trauma and mental illness.
In addition to his leadership, Dr. Rollins has published in peer reviewed journals including the Roeper Review and the Journal of Gifted Studies. He is a self-published author of Healing the Impoverished Mind: Building Resilience Through Adversity and The Resilient Heart Journal. He has served on the Steering Committee for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, as a board member for United Suicide Survivors Loss International and serves on the Advisory Council for Centerstone Crisis Center.
Dr. Rollins conferred a Doctor of Philosophy from Ball State University, in educational psychology with cognates in counseling psychology and gifted studies, earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology, a bachelor’s degree in psychology and was named Outstanding Senior of the Year, graduating with honors. He is licensed to practice therapy in California and Indiana and is affiliated with Renewal Health Group and Conscious Health and Wellness.
